LAREDO, Texas - The Texas State men's golf team wrapped up the Border Olympics on Saturday, moving up to finish in 13th place out of 18 in Laredo, Texas.
Tyler Thomas finished as the top Bobcat on the day, shooting a 2-under-par 70. Thomas had two birdies on the day and an eagle on the par-five 17th.
Eloy Gonzalez competed as an individual and was the top Bobcat on the leaderboard, following a 2-over-par 74. His 54-hole total of 220 was the lowest he's shot since coming to Texas State.
The Bobcats will now have nine days off before playing at the Lone Star Invitational on March 23, in San Antonio.
