SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team will honor its three senior players on Saturday, prior to taking on Arkansas State at 4:30 p.m., at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats will recognize D.J. Brown, Victor Bermudez and Wes Davis. 

Texas State is coming off a 67-61 win over Troy on Thursday, in which the Bobcats shot 42.1 percent from three-point range, including 6-of-8 in the first half, their best mark in a half during conference play. Kavin Gilder-Tilbury led the three-point charge going 3-of-5 for 13 points.

Texas State and Arkansas State are tied in the Sun Belt standings for the final spot in the conference tournament at 6-11. The Red Wolves won the first matchup between the two schools in Jonesboro 78-73 in overtime.

Scouting Arkansas State

The Red Wolves are led by Shaun Livingston, who earned Sun Belt Player of the Week honors after his first game against Texas State in which he scored 24 points and added 15 rebounds on Jan. 17. Livingston is averaging 15.5 points per game overall this season along with 9.9 rebounds.

Guard Cameron Golden has also contributed from the guard spot with 14.0 points per game. He had 22 points in the first meeting between the two.
