LAFAYETTE, La. – The Texas State men's basketball team looks to get revenge on UL Lafayette on Thursday, after it dropped the first meeting between the two schools last month in San Marcos, 72-63.Â
Texas State went on a 22-4 run at one point in the second half to take a 62-58 lead with three minutes remaining. Unfortunately the Ragin Cajuns ended the game on a 14-1 run of their own to improve to 4-0 all time against the Bobcats.Â
The good news is that Wes Davis will be available for this contest after missing the first game between these two due to a shoulder injury. That hopes to limit Jay Wright of UL Lafayette who had 10 assists and no turnovers back in San Marcos.Â
