SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team comes off its week-long break, when it hosts Louisiana-Lafayette, Saturday at 4:30 p.m., at Strahan Coliseum. The game is also the final one of a three-game home stand.

The Bobcats have struggled offensively of late, averaging just 52.0 points per game during that stretch. Senior guard Wes Davis has missed the last game and a half with a shoulder injury suffered against Georgia Southern, and is questionable for Saturday's game. He averages 7.5 points per game, and has been the team's best defender, with a team-high 34 steals along with shutting down some of the top scorers in the conference.

Scouting Louisiana Lafayette

The Ragin Cajuns enter Saturday's game having lost five of their last six, including an 89-85 decision on the road to South Alabama on Thursday night.

Louisiana Lafayette boasts one of the top players in the league, in forward Shawn Long who is projected to be an NBA draft pick following the season. He is averaging 17.5 points per game along with 10.0 rebounds per game.

Watching/Listening to the Game

Saturday's game will be televised on KBVO in Austin and broadcast on the radio 89.9 FM KTSW and online at www.txstatebocats.com/radio.
