Men's Basketball Heads to Western Kentucky

San Marcos, Texas –
The Texas State men's basketball team heads out on the road for a single game trip, when it faces the 2013 Sun Belt Conference NCAA Tournament representative, Western Kentucky at 7:00 p.m., Saturday in Bowling Green, Ky. WKU enters the game 14-7 overall and 6-2 in SBC play.

The Bobcats are coming off its second Sun Belt Conference win of the season, beating Troy 73-65 last Saturday at Strahan Coliseum. Emani Gant scored a career-high 21 points in the victory and is second in the league in field goal percentage.

Saturday's game against the Hilltoppers features the top two rebounding teams in the Sun Belt Conference. Western Kentucky leads the league in rebounding margin at +4.5 per game while the Bobcats are second at +3.2 per game.

The game will be on ESPN 3 and mark the 12TH game this season for the men that are scheduled to be on TV. The Bobcats were previously on ESPN3 twice, both at Houston and SMU. For fans who can't watch the ESPN3 broadcast, the radio broadcast is on KTSW 89.9 FM and www.txstatebobcats.com.
