GAME NOTES

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Volleyball looks to build on the team's momentum from beating Baylor in the midweek. The Bobcats travel to Tulsa, Okla., to take on Northern Colorado at 4 p.m. Friday followed by Tulsa and Arkansas on Saturday at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively.
 
Texas State made short work of Baylor, beating the Bears in four, but will have to come with it against Northern Colorado and Tulsa as both teams swept Baylor earlier this season.
 
Every team at the tournament except for Tulsa are coming off a win. However, Tulsa, which stands at 6-2 on the season, owns the second best record at the tournament behind Texas State's impressive 8-2 mark.
 
The Bobcats have faced all three teams previously, but none since 1995. Texas State won the team's last meetings against Tulsa and Arkansas in 1995 and 1994 respectively, but dropped the only Texas State match ever played against Northern Colorado, 2-1, in 1983.
