Game Notes 

San Marcos, Texas Texas State (4-14, 0-6 WAC) will travel to San Antonio to play UTSA (4-12, 0-6 WAC) this weekend. Saturday's tip versus the Roadrunners at the Convocation Center is slated for 4 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Time Warner Ch. 888 for fans in the San Marcos area. Both teams are looking for their first win in league play.

Series

Saturday's matchup will be the 54th meeting between Texas State and UTSA. UTSA leads the all-time series, 31-22. Texas State won the last meeting on Jan. 25, 2012; 66-52. The Bobcats have won at UTSA, four times in the past six years.

Scouting Texas State

Texas State is in search of its first WAC win after dropping its first-six games of league play. The Bobcats are 0-5 on the road this season. Joel Wright ranks in the top three in the league in scoring with 15.9 points per game. He also ranks in the top 10 in rebounds with 6.8 boards per game. Texas State is the only school with three players (Wright, Deonte' Jones, and Wes Davis) ranked in the top 15 in three-point field goal percentage in WAC games.

Scouting UTSA

UTSA is on a six-game losing streak dating back to Dec. 29, 2012. The Roadrunners join Texas State and Seattle as the only teams in the league yet to win a conference game. The Roadrunners post a 1-4 home record. Their lone win came against USC Upstate in a 67-59 win. Kannon Burrage is the top scorer for the Roadrunners at 17.4 ppg.
