San Marcos, Texas – League-leading Texas State (12-12, 7-3 SLC) men's basketball puts its four-game win streak on the road as it travels to Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday, February 15 to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at the American Bank Center. The Bobcats captured their first conference road victory last week against Central Arkansas and this week they look to make it two straight. A&M-Corpus Christi (8-17, 3-7 SLC) is currently in last place in the west division after dropping its last three conference games.

Scouting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
A&M-Corpus Christi (8-17, 3-7 SLC) is on a four-game losing streak after dropping a 75-67 decision to Sam Houston State last Saturday. The Islanders are 2-3 at home in conference play this season with their last conference win at the American Bank Center occurring on Jan. 22 in a 70-68 win over Sam Houston State. The Islanders are led by Demond Watt who is averaging 15.0 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game. A&M-Corpus Christi is averaging 61.0 points per game and 33.8 rebounds per game.

January 26, 2011 - Senior Tony Bishop dominated the floor, coming off the bench and scoring 20 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and two blocks to lead Texas State men's basketball to a 73-62 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at home.
Bishop notched his fourth double-double of the season and 12th double figure performance. Senior Cameron Johnson just missed a double-double with 13 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Senior Ryan White tallied 20 points (all in the second half) and five assists, while junior John Bowman had 10 points.
