Eddie Rios led all Bobcats with 20 points, while he and Travis Jones connected on five treys apiece. The Bobcats are led by team captains Cameron Johnson and Tony Bishop; Texas State's top scorers and rebounders. Texas State has scored 80+ points in each of its last six games going 4-2. The Bobcats are shooting 45 percent from the field and averaging 80.7 points per game.
Scouting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (7-12, 2-3 SLC) opened conference play on a two-game skid, before beating Southeastern Louisiana at home. The Islanders are coming off a 70-68 victory at home over Sam Houston State. Demond Watt leads AMCC with 14.8 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game. The Islanders are averaging 61.8 points per outing, but are being outscored by their opponents by almost 10 points. AMCC is shooting 30 percent from long range and 43 percent from the field.

February 10, 2010 - Texas State fell 63-60 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on the road. Cameron Johnson led the Bobcats with 21 points and 11 rebounds. In addition to Johnson's seventh 20-point game and sixth double-double performance, Ryan White scored 12 points and handed out a team-best three assists and J.B. Conley added eight points in his fourth start of the season.
