AUSTIN, Texas After day one of the Texas Relays, Valerie Hancock sits in tenth place in the heptathlon. Hancock tallied 3,018 points through the first three events. Jack Petersen placed 15th in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:55.08.

The Texas Relays will continue through to Sunday, April 3 at Mike A. Akers Stadium.
