San Marcos, Texas - Texas State will host North Texas on Saturday, Nov. 27 in the second game of the doubleheader at Strahan Coliseum. Game time is set for 4 p.m.  The Bobcats are 29-56 all-time versus the Mean Green.

Scouting North Texas

North Texas (3-1) recorded a 68-65 victory over Rice on Tuesday night. Tristan Thompson is leading the Mean Green in scoring with 19 points per game.  George Odufuwa is averaging 11.5 boards per game for North Texas and 10.0 points per game. The only loss North Texas has suffered so far this season is a 60-93 fall to the University of Kansas.

Scouting Texas State

Texas State (2-2) is coming off a devastating overtime loss to Our Lady of the Lake on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats came from 31 points down to send the game into overtime, but a last second shot by the Saints banked in and gave the Bobcats a Thanksgiving Eve loss. Tony Bishop is leading Texas State in points and rebounds, averaging 14.8 and 11.3, respectively.
