Final Stats
WACO, Texas- Texas State women's cross country wrapped up its season today at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco, Texas. Senior Tenley Determan was the first Bobcat to cross the line in the 6k race.
Determan finished the race in 32nd place out of 120 runners, as she ran a time of 22:06. The next Bobcat to cross the line was Heather Bullin as she clocked a time of 22:37 for 48th place.
Texas State finished 11th out of 17 teams with 310 points, beating out Southland Conference schools UT Arlington and Southeastern Louisiana, who captured 13th and 15th place, respectively.
Arkansas won the team title with 51 points, followed by Baylor and Rice who tied for second with 61 points each. Nicole Mericle of Rice University won the race with a time of 20:34.
