Sports Network Top 25 Poll

PHILADELPHIA - Following its 38-35 win over nationally-ranked Cal Poly, Texas State was propelled into The Sports Network's Top 25 poll and is No. 19 this week.

The Bobcats are one of four Southland Conference teams in this week's poll.

McNeese State moved from No. 10 to No. 7 with its 35-12 win over nationally-ranked Portland State. Sam Houston State. Sam Houston State is No. 16 this week. And following its 16-14 win over FBS opponent Rice, Nicholls State is No. 25.

It was no surprise Appalachian State received all 88 first-place votes following its win at Michigan and remains the No. 1 team in the country. The rest of the top 10 is (2) Massachusetts, (3) Montana, (4) North Dakota State, (5) New Hampshire, (6) Youngstown State, (8) Northern Iowa, (9) Furman and (10) James Madison.

Cal Poly fell to No. 22 this week.
