Final Stats

EDINBURG - Texas State scored in all but two innings Sunday as the Bobcats beat host Texas-Pan American 12-5 at the UTPA Classic. Texas State went 2-1 at the season-opening tournament, including an 8-3 victory over No. 27 Oklahoma in the season opener on Friday.

Texas State opens at home Tuesday against the No. 1 team in the country when the Bobcats play host to Rice. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. at Bobcat Field.
