FORT WORTH - Texas State's Sumarie Muller and Natalie McLeod scored wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles but the Bobcats dropped a 5-2 decision at No. 16 TCU Tuesday to close out a four-game road swing to the Metroplex.

Muller defeated Karine Ionesco 6-0, 5-4 at No. 5 singles while McLeod posted a 6-3, 6-2 win against Gabby Lopez at No. 6.

The Bobcats opened the road swing with a 5-2 win over North Texas but now have lost three straight to fall to 3-4 on the year.

Texas State returns to action March 2 when the Bobcats play host to Trinity in an afternoon match. The `Cats return to Southland Conference play March 4 against McNeese State.
