UTSA Invitational Results

Texas State's Corey Roberson opened play at the UTSA Invitational with a morning round of 69 and is currently tied for eighth place at the tournament being played at Comanche Trace Golf Club.
Roberson followed his 69 with an even-par 72 Monday afternoon for a two-round score of 141. He is seven strokes off the tournament lead shared by SMU's Kelly Kraft and St. John's Mike Ballo, Jr.
Texas State is tied for third place with Sam Houston State and Oklahoma Christian after 36 holes. All three teams shot two-round scores of 581. The Bobcats rebounded from a team, opening-round score of 296 and shot a 285 Monday afternoon.
SMU shot a two-round score of 562 Monday and has a two-stroke lead over second-place St. John's.
The Bobcats have two other golfers in the top 25 after two rounds. Michael Carnes is tied for 16th after a second-round score of 69. He carded a 144 on Monday. Tyler Barnes-Wolf is tied for 25th after shooting a two-round score of 147 Monday.
The final round of the tournament is slated for Tuesday morning.
