Final Stats

Conway, Ark. - Texas State soccer dropped its final road game of the season to Central Arkansas in a 1-0 decision Sunday afternoon.

The lone goal of the afternoon came from Sugar Bear Lauren Carter on a corner kick in the 57th minute. Amanda Bishop was credited with the assist.

Despite taking twice as many shots as Central Arkansas, the Bobcats could not convert any of their twenty attempts into goals.

Forward Britney Curry led the team with three shot attempts and was one of four Bobcats tallying a shot on goal during the contest.

Amanda Byrd guarded the net during the entire 90 minutes of play and recorded three saves in the match.

The loss adjusts Texas State's overall record to 3-11-2 and 2-3-2 in Southland competition.

The Bobcats will play out the remainder of league action at home hosting McNeese State Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. and Lamar Nov. 4. at 1 p.m. at Bobcat Field.
