Bobcats in 13th at UTA Fall Classic

FORT WORTH - After shooting an opening-round 306, Texas State made a little ground on some of the field Monday afternoon but was in 13th place at the UTA Fall Classic.

Texas State shot a 296 during Monday's afternoon round. The Bobcats are 10 strokes out of the top 10. Texas-Arlington holds a 20-stroke lead on the field after shooting a 275 during Monday afternoon's round. The Mavericks are -19 after two rounds. Cal Poly and Central Arkansas are both +1 after two rounds.

The Bobcats' Corey Zetterwall is the Bobcats' leading golfer after two rounds. He is tied for 45th at five-over par. Central Arkansas' Colby Schrum heads into Tuesday morning's final round with a one-stroke lead after carding a -7, 137 through two rounds. UTA's Michael Van de Meter is at -6 after two rounds.
