EDINBURG, Texas (AP) - Brian Burrell scored 31 points to lead Texas Pan-American to a 77-64 win over Texas State on Saturday.

Also scoring in double digits for Texas-Pan American (4-0) were Zach Trader with 16, Dexter Shankle with 12 and Colin Lien with 11. Lien also had 10 rebounds.

Brent Holder led Texas State (1-2) with 13 points. Also scoring in double digits were Chris Agwumaro with 12, Matt Fullenwider with 12, Charles Dotson with 11 and Antwon Willliams with 10. Williams also led his team with seven rebounds.

Texas State returns to action Wednesday when the Bobcats play host to Arkansas-Little Rock. Tip-off is slated 7 p.m. in Strahan Coliseum.
