Texas State fell behind early in game one, as three-straight Chelsea Dockery service errors put the Colonels on top 12-8 through the first 20 serves. Texas State would rebound, however, tying the game and taking the lead with three-consecutive Nicholls errors that made the score 15-14.

Texas State outscored Nicholls 5-2 through the final seven plays, winning the game for a 1-0 match lead on a kill by Fletcher that put Texas State up 30-23.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 6-1 lead in game two and pushed the lead to seven past the midpoint, going up 17-9 on a Jessica Weynand service ace.

The `Cats completed the sweep with a 30-25 win in game three, coming from four back to take a 12-11 lead on one of six-straight Nicholls errors that erased an 11-7 NSU lead.
Fletcher put Texas State up 16-13 with a kill that sparked a 7-0 Bobcat run to make the score 19-13, and a pair of Nicholls attacking errors ruined a Colonel comeback, putting Texas State up 30-25 to finish the match with a 3-0 Bobcat win.
Kacey Wimpy had 12 digs to lead the Bobcat back line and was joined by her freshman counterpart in double figures, as Weynand finished with 10 stops on defense. Erin Hickman led the club with 22 assists, and Brittany Collins finished the game with nine.
Weigle led the `Cats up front with four assisted blocks, while Griffin finished the night with a .500 hitting mark and eight kills.
