Texas State's Southland Conference road game at Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 5 will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net-Southwest.
The announcement came as the Southland Conference released its television broadcast schedule for the 2005 football season during the first day of the SLC Kickoff Celebration at Del Lago Resort and Convention Center.
The Bobcats, picked to finish second by both the league's coaches and sports information directors, will take on an SFA team also tabbed to finish in the upper echelon of the league. The Lumberjacks are one of three teams in the conference to have a first-year coach as Robert McFarland begins his first season as head coach. Sam Houston State and Southeastern Louisiana also have first-year coaches.
Kickoff for the Texas State/SFA game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. but has been moved back to 1 p.m. on Nov. 5 to accommodate the television broadcast.
