SAN MARCOS, Texas - Senior Ashley McGruder scored all seven overtime points in leading Texas State to the 61-58 win over UT-San Antonio on senior night in Strahan Coliseum.

Coupled with Northwestern State's loss to McNeese State, the win gives the Bobcats sole ownership of third place in the Southland Conference. Texas State will play host to McNeese in the first round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts/Southland Conference Tournament Monday night.

Junior forward Tamara Thompson scored 11 points for the Bobcats and recorded her first double-double of the season with 15 boards.
