SAN MARCOS, Texas - In the second day of action for the CenturyTel Bobcat Classic hosted by Texas State the team moved to 3-1 for the season. The Bobcats started the day, defeating Texas Tech 7-5. In the following game of the classic the `Cats lost 3-2 in eight innings to Wichita State.

Katie Ann Trahan pitched 12 total innings through both games on Saturday. For the day, she allowed nine hits for only two runs. Catcher, Rachael Bonetti aided the Bobcats with a combined 24 putouts for both games.

The CenturyTel Classic will conclude on Sunday with each team playing one game. Wichita State and Northern Colorado will face-off in the first game of the day at 10:00 a.m. on Bobcat Field. Following the conclusion of the first game, Texas Tech will play UT-Arlington. Texas State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a scheduled to play the final game of the classic at 2:00 p.m.
