Sept. 26, 2004 - SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Bobcats were tied 1-1 with the Indians until the last seconds of Sunday's game. Louisiana-Monroe was awarded a penalty kick with no time remaining on the clock. Amanda Wing took the shot for the Indians which was good, giving them the 2-1 win.
ULM scored first, twenty-three minutes into the match. Alicia Hamilton scored the goal unassisted.
The Bobcats came back in the second period to tie the score 1-1, at the 82:07 mark on the clock.
Freshman Amanda Machado had a short throw-in pass to fellow freshman Danielle Holloway. Holloway turned and sent a long high kick to senior captain Kendra Kade, who headed the ball into the net for the Bobcat goal.
The 'Cats held off the Indians from scoring during two last minute corner kicks, but goalie Brittany Beltramini was unable to block the penalty kick which resulted in the win.
