Women’s Golf Concludes First Tournament of the Season

BRYAN, Texas – Texas State women's golf concluded their first tournament of the season with a 14th place finish at the "Mo"Morial Invitational. 
 
Team
The Bobcats stayed in 14th after the final round shooting 62-over par on the Traditions golf course. The team had their highest course-total in the third round of 319 and going 31-over today. 
 
Host team Texas A&M took home the team championship with 11-under par. 
 
Individual
Matilda Svahn jumped nine spots to finish tied for 55th shooting three-over with one birdie. Marine Griffaut shot 12-over in the final round and fell 33 spots due to three double bogeys.
 
Junia Gabasa ended the third round four spots higher than day one with the help of three birdies, the most by a Bobcat in today's round. She finished the tournament tied for 60th
