Texas State Athletics is excited to host Bark at the Park at Bobcat Ballpark! Join us Saturday, May 3rd, at 2:30 p.m. as Texas State Baseball takes on ULM.
Bark at the Park guests can look forward to an exciting day of baseball with dog-themed programming throughout the game.Â
Tickets for your pup to enter the park are $5 (in addition to the owner's ticket to enter the game) and includes a free bandanna and bag of treats - brought to you by our partners at Raising Cane's!
The 1st baseline area is reserved for Bark at the Park guests and their registered dogs for this game. Capacity is limited, so purchase your tickets today before all spots are filled!Â
All Bark at the Park guests must fill out the required paperwork. Once you purchase your dog's $5 ticket, your paperwork will be emailed to you to be completed. Completed paperwork must be on file with Texas State Athletics and University Risk Managment prior to the game for you and your dog to be admitted into the ballpark.
To have the best environment for dogs, owners, players and fans please agree to follow these mandatory conditions.
In order to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans and dogs in attendance, Texas State Athletics has instituted the following policies and parameters surrounding Bark at the Park on Saturday, May 3, 2025.Â
All Bark at the Park guests must fill out necessary paperwork. Once you purchase your $5 ticket for your dog, your paperwork will be emailed to you.
Paperwork will include a liability release and request for confirmation of the following:
The dog has received vaccinations including rabies, DHLP, parvo, and bordetella.
The dog is old enough (min. 4 months old) to be around other dogs and people.
The dog must be in good health and free from parasites.
The dog is comfortable in large crowds and is not excessively fearful around humans, other dogs, or loud noises.
The dog has not been determined to be a Dangerous Dog in any county. The dog does not have a history of being overly aggressive towards humans or other dogs.
The dog does well on leash. Dogs must remain on leash at all times.
Only one approved dog per one adult guest. Dogs must be supervised by persons 18 years of age or older at all times.
All dogs must be under control, on a leash, and in view of the owner/handler at all times while inside Bobcat Ballpark.
Dog owners/handlers are liable for any injuries or damage caused by their dogs.
Dog owners are responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog's waste in specified receptacles.
Each Bark at the Park guest receives a dog relief bag and giveaways upon entry.
There will be a water station for dogs inside the 1st baseline open area.
Dogs will be allowed in a sectioned off area of the stands during the game.
No dogs are permitted on the playing field at any point.
Aggressive or dangerous dogs are prohibited. Dogs showing any aggressive behavior, or any altercation between animals, will result in the immediate removal of the participating animals and their owners.
The University's existing policy for service dogs at athletics events continues to apply for those dogs meeting the requirements of a service dog.
