Financial Aid and Scholarships

Summer School & Exhausted Eligibility Scholarships
Texas State offers summer school and exhausted eligibility scholarships opportunities equivalent to a student-athlete's regular academic term scholarship level. The Compliance office and the Athletic Academic Center staff notify student-athletes each term when applications for summer school and/or exhausted eligibility scholarships are due. It is the student-athlete's responsibility to complete the application and submit it to the Internal Operations & Compliance Coordinator by the deadline.

Outside Aid
Per NCAA rules, student-athletes must report any outside financial aid (i.e. grants, scholarships) to the Office of Financial Aid and the Athletics Department prior to accepting the aid. Texas State student-athletes should submit the Outside Aid form to the Compliance Administrator for Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Off-Campus Housing and/or Meal Stipends
Student-athletes may receive off-campus housing and/or meal stipends based on their scholarship level and with their head coach's approval. The stipends are dispersed on the first working day of each month a student-athlete is enrolled, but not before the first class day of any term. The stipends may be direct deposited (if the student-athlete has set up this service) or will be mailed to the student-athlete's local mailing address in CatsWeb.
