For student-athletes who have signed a National Letter of Intent and/or Grant-in-Aid with Texas State there are several steps to complete including admissions, housing and orientation. View the full version of the Incoming Student-Athlete Guide.

If you are an incoming freshmen student-athlete, you must:
• Apply for admission to Texas State (www.applytexas.org)
• Submit your ACT/SAT test scores (if applicable) and
• Submit High School transcripts
• Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) Guide, Freshman

If you are an incoming transfer student-athlete, you must:
• Apply for admission to Texas State (www.applytexas.org)
• Submit All College transcripts and high school transcripts to Texas State
• Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) Guide, Junior College & 4 year Transfers

If you are an incoming international student-athlete, you must:
• Apply for admission to Texas State (www.applytexas.org)
• Submit all transcripts (high school & college)
• Submit test scores (ACT/SAT, TOEFL or other proof of English Proficiency)
