Come Early, Tailgate, Get Into the Stadium and Stay Late
At Texas State game day starts early in the day with tailgating at 9 am and continues all the way up to game time. Then, we get into the stadium before the opening kickoff so nothing is missed from the game experience. Finally, stay late all the way until the clock strikes zero and the Bobcats sing the beloved school alma mater and fight song.

Game Traditions
Pride of the Hill Country Marching Band
Get ready for the game by getting in the stadium early and singing the beloved fight song and alma mater with the Bobcat Marching Band. The Pride of the Hill country takes the field 20 minutes before kickoff and is as much a part of the game day experience as the game itself.
"T-X-S-T"
It's an acronym for Texas State University. Each time the Bobcats kickoff yell "T-X-S-T" as the ball is kicked to the opposing team.
3rd Down Noise with Hells Bells
Everyone needs a little extra motivation and energy. Bobcats fans love to provide this for our team. When the Bobcats are on defense and its 3rd down make some noise when you hear the hells bells.
Train Pump
Trains are as much a part of San Marcos as the river. When a train rolls through San Marcos during the game, pull the train horn.
Fight Song
Sing it everytime it's played. Hear it by clicking here. Eat 'em Up, Cats.
